What are cookies?
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser to remember you from one visit to the next. Some are set by the site itself; others by the companies whose tools the site uses.
This site also uses the browser's local storage, which works in a similar way: it keeps a piece of information on your device. That is where your cookie choice is kept.
Do I have to accept?
No. Apart from the necessary ones, no cookie is stored without your permission, and declining changes nothing in what you see here. You can accept everything, decline everything or choose by purpose.
Before you choose, the Google and Meta tools are already loaded, but without storing cookies. Google receives signals with no identifier, which it uses to estimate the number of visits in aggregate. Meta receives the request to load its script, which includes the IP address, and no events.

What is always used?
Only the record of your choice. It stays in your browser's local storage, is not sent to anyone and does not identify you. The site language comes from the page address (/en), not from a cookie.

What is used to measure visits?
Google Analytics 4, if you accept Analytics. It counts visits, pages viewed, where the visit came from and device type. We use these numbers to learn what people look for on the site.
The data goes to Google, which processes it outside Brazil, mainly in the United States.

What is used for advertising?
Google Ads and the Meta Pixel, if you accept Advertising. They measure whether a Tortato ad brought someone to the site and allow us to show our ads to people who have visited us, on Google and on Meta's networks (Facebook and Instagram).
The data goes to Google and Meta, which process it outside Brazil, mainly in the United States.

The fr cookie is set on Meta's domain, not ours, so this site cannot delete it. To control it, use Meta's ad settings.
What about links to other sites?
The site links to LinkedIn, LeadHub, the apps at tortato.com and press articles. None of these load until you click. After the click, the other site's policy applies.
This site's fonts and images are served by the site itself, without going through third parties.
How do I delete or block cookies in my browser?
